DaoLeu is an independently run travel publication. We help independent travellers understand where to stay and how to plan the practical details of a trip. Our first guides focus on visitors coming to China.
What we look for
We select hotels around real travel needs: useful locations, room and bathroom details, arrival routes, and the limitations that can make a difference to your stay. Travel articles connect these choices with transport, food and things to do.
How we research
Our editorial work draws on Chinese-language guest feedback, hotel information and relevant official sources, combined with the publisher’s hotel-selection experience. Research-based recommendations are not presented as personal stays. Where a guide describes first-hand experience, that should be identified in the article.
We include sources and review dates so readers can understand the basis of a recommendation. Facilities, staff availability and room conditions may change. A recommendation is not a certification or a guarantee.
Our role
DaoLeu publishes information and links to external booking services. We do not operate hotels, take accommodation payments or manage reservations. Some links may earn us a commission; our affiliate disclosure explains this relationship.
